PHOTOGRAPHY FINAL
10 TECHNIQUES
REFLECTION
This is clearly a photo of a pool which you can see a palm tree at the end of. Not only can you see it at the end of the pool, but you can see it in the pool. This is because of reflection. When you first look at this photo your eyes lead to the reflection. This is because it is right in the center and due to the angle it looks as though the reflection of the palm tree is sticking out at you. |
STOP ACTION
This is a photo of Boulder, the dog rolling around in the grass ever so happily. He was moving around very fast but luckily through the technique of "Stop Action" I could capture the pureness of the moment. This photo makes me feel almost as happy as Boulder! Although you cannot see his face or his happiness in his eyes, you can see it through his actions within this photo. |
SHADOW
In this photo you can make out two personages standing side by side and one looks like they may be carrying a suitcase if some sort. To me this represents life because it's hard to tell what exactly we're looking at and what is in front of us. In life we don't also know what is ahead of us, its much like a mystery. This photo uses the shadow technique. |
POINT OF VIEW
Here is photo from a birds eye view, which is using the point of view technique. This photo is very simple but yet can tell a story within the eyes of the boy. Because of the perspective in the photo, the background is blurry and the boys face is in focus. This adds a sense of depth to the photo. |
SHALLOW DEPTH OF FIELD
Here is a photo of a brick wall. In this photo you can see very well that is uses shallow depth of field. Because of the depth of field it makes the wall look much linger than it is. To me this shows that because of just one simple camera technique it can change your whole perspective on the photo. |
EXPANSIVE DEPTH OF FIELD
This photo uses the technique, expansive depth of field. You can tell because there is no main focus. Your eyes naturally scan the whole photo rather than sticking to one part of the photo. I like this because you can look at all of the points in the pictures rather than sticking one little piece of it. |
